Open Water Diver Course
Your scuba diving certification journey begins here. This course qualifies you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres after completing knowledge development, pool practice, and four open water dives.
Duration: 2–4 days
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 10 years
- Good health
- Ability to float for 10 minutes and swim 200 metres
Children between 10 and 14 years can complete the Junior Open Water Diver course. The course content and skills are the same, but with a depth limitation of 12 metres. After their 15th birthday, the depth limit automatically increases to 18 metres.
Scuba Diver Course
If you don’t have time for the full Open Water Diver course but would still like to become certified, this course is for you.
You will be trained to a maximum depth of 12 metres under the supervision of a professional.
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 10 years
- Good health
- Ability to float for 10 minutes
Advanced Open Water Diver Course
This is the next step after the Open Water course.
You will learn new skills and complete your first deep dive. This certification qualifies you to dive to a maximum of 30 metres.
You must complete:
- Knowledge reviews
- Two mandatory dives (Navigation and Deep)
- Three Adventure Dives chosen with your instructor
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 12 years
- Good health
- Open Water Diver certification
Children between 12 and 14 years can complete the Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course with a depth limitation of 21 metres until their 15th birthday.
Specialty Courses
After completing your Open Water and Advanced Open Water courses, you can further develop your knowledge and skills in specific areas.

Master Scuba Diver
This is the highest non-professional recreational diver rating.
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 12 years
- Advanced Open Water Diver
- nd Rescue Diver certifications
50 logged dives - Five specialty certifications
Rescue Diver Course
The Rescue Diver course teaches you how to prevent and manage diving problems and emergencies, both for yourself and other divers.
You will learn how to:
- Identify and manage stress
- Rescue panicked, responsive, and unresponsive divers
- Use emergency equipment
- Provide first aid for diving injuries
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 12 years
- Advanced Open Water
- certification
Completed EFR course within the last 24 months
Divemaster Course
This professional training program prepares you to lead and supervise scuba diving activities.
You will develop knowledge and skills in:
- Dive planning
- Dive safety
- Environmental awareness
- Navigation
- Water skills
- Assisting instructors during courses
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Certified Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver
- 40 logged dives (60 required by the end of the course)
- EFR certification within the previous 24 months
- Medical evaluation signed by a physician within the past 12 months
Discover Scuba Diving Program
This is a scuba diving experience, not a certification course.
It can be completed within half a day. After an introduction to basic scuba diving knowledge, you will practise essential skills in a safe environment before completing an open water dive in the ocean.
Requirement:
- Minimum age: 10 years

If your child is between 8 and 10 years old and would like to try scuba diving in a safe environment, ask about the Seal Team and Bubblemaker programs.
